Body Shop Technician

The Heritage Automotive Group Collision Center representing top brands like Toyota and Ford is looking for a talented Body Shop Technician with 13 years of experience to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive work orders and perform designated repairs.
• Remove parts, panels, moldings, accessories, etc., to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
• Bolt or weld replacement panels, parts, etc.
• Dent removal using conventional repair methods.
• Align and adjust hoods, deck lids, and panels.
• Prepare vehicle for painting.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and work areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with formal training in automotive body repair, plus 1-3+ years of relevant technical experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic math skills, with some estimating experience desirable.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch and stand over, under and next to all repair vehicles.
• Experience running a frame machine would be beneficial but not mandatory
