Job Summary and Qualifications

Prepares and assist in cardiac catheterizations, as well as vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures (including various radiology procedures). Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedure – to include but not limited to IAB and temporary pacer insertion. Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist, or credentialed interventional radiologist.

What you will do in this role:

• You will assist with all diagnostic/interventional procedures and specials labs as scrubber, panner (no cine) and monitor person
• Operates equipment
• Prepares patients for examination
• Documents appropriate information
• Interacts with patients and physicians and performs related duties as assigned 

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist
