Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven CFO, to join our dynamic team at Autzu. As the CFO, you will play a critical role in leading & building our financial operations, overseeing fundraising efforts with investors, and providing strategic financial guidance as we scale our business globally. This is an executive-level position that requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the CEO and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the C-Suite to develop and execute financial strategies in alignment with Autzu’s overall goals and objectives.
• Lead the fundraising efforts, including identifying potential investors, preparing financial models and business plans, and presenting to potential stakeholders.
• Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost management, and investment evaluation.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, financial institutions, and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and other members of the executive team to support decision-making and drive business growth.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
• Risk Taker and willing to put in the effort to build.
• Proven experience as a CFO or VP of Finance or similar executive-level role in a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization.
• Strong experience dealing with top VC's or Banks and fundraising for startups
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading fundraising efforts, including securing investments from venture capitalists, private equity firms, or other funding sources.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal and external partners.
