JOB SUMMARY:
The Forensic Interviewer conducts forensic interviews of victims of child sexual abuse and sexual assault, as well as other crimes and exposure to violence.
In order to support the needs of these victims, as well as the "first response" requirements of Center for Hope's multidisciplinary team partners, this position will also provide, on a rotating, on-call basis, after hours/urgent/emergency forensic interview services.
The position will also conduct forensic interview training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline
Valid Maryland LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C Licensed Social Worker, Counselor or Psychologist
Must have previous experience
Valid driver's license
Ability to physically respond to on-call interview within 30 minutes
Knowledge of child development
Knowledge of developmental disabilities
Experience in the field of child sexual abuse and trauma
Experience in the field of Intimate Partner Violence helpful
Understanding of cultural competency
Bilingual English/Spanish PREFERRED
Successful completion of CFH's forensic interview training preferred
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week (alternating 9-5 and 11-7 shifts), with additional rotating on-call responsibilities for emergency and urgent after hours interviews
Range $60 to $74K based on experience
