We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to join our Contracts Operations Division . This position is responsible for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of contract locations, ensuring service quality and compliance with organizational standards.

As Project Manager, you will lead site operations, supervise staff, maintain supply budgets, and play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our clients and employees. Your leadership will directly support our mission of inclusivity and excellence, including working with individuals with disabilities in a respectful and supportive environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise daily cleaning operations across multiple shifts and buildings
  • Schedule staff and manage work assignments
  • Monitor and control inventory and supply budgets
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Lead and develop team members including Assistant Project Managers, Custodial Supervisors, and Lead Workers
  • Maintain strong relationships with COTRs and internal teams
  • Provide training, support, and corrective action as needed
  • Attend manager meetings and training sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of education)
  • 3+ years of janitorial/cleaning service experience
  • Strong understanding of sanitation principles and building services contracting
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and industrial safety procedures
  • Ability to read/write in English and communicate effectively
  • Supervisory experience with both skilled and unskilled staff
  • Commitment to supporting and working with individuals with disabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Familiarity with NISH laws and requirements
  • Experience supervising disabled employees
