Volt is immediately hiring a Pilot Plant Technician in Austin, TX with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. This is a first shift position. As a Pilot Plant Technician you will: Document, update, submit product standards, specifications, and test methods. Work with Laboratory, Quality, and Business Supply Chain Engineers as needed for special assignments, projects (documentation, potential data analysis). Assemble new types of fiber optic connectors using detailed work procedures (as needed) This is a full-time contingent opportunity Estimated Duration 24+ months The ideal candidate will have: 1–2 years of experience writing engineering specifications and procedure documentation Able to utilize Microsoft Excel for data input, formatting & analysis. Able to update systems with specification and procedure documentation. Preferred: 1–2 years of experience as a Pilot Plant Technician, Plant Technician, or in a similar role Pay Rate: $29.77 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
