Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler with at least one year of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment. This position is a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity, requiring candidates to pass a drug test.
Responsibilities
Read and understand assembly drawings.
Assemble and build mail automation equipment.
Use both hand and power tools to assemble equipment.
Work independently and within a team, depending on the project.
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm (Lots of OT, working till 5pm and frequent Saturdays)
Essential Skills
Ability to read assembly drawings similar to easy-to-read blueprints.
Recognize parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.
Identify hardware like screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.
Experience using both hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Candidates with strong mechanical skills and organizational capabilities.
Excellent communication, punctuality, and detail orientation.

Work Environment

The role is full-time, first shift, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility of required overtime and weekend work without advance notice.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
