Job Position: Welder

Location: FORT WORTH, TX 76118

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Shift: First Shift

• Mon-Fri 5am-2:30pm (OT Sat- 5am-11am)

Description:

Welder/Fabricators support the manufacturing plant by assembling pieces of metal or repairing damage to products using welding equipment and tools.

Duties include but not limited to

• Material Handling

• Material Prep

• Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions

• Mig, Flux Core and/or Stick Welding

• Position, align, fit, tack and weld parts to form complete assemblies or sub-assemblies

• Operate hand and power tools

• Follow instructions from supervisors/management and SOPs

• Follow quality plans and quality specifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Welding and fitting experience

• MIG WELDER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Flux Core and Stick Welding experience preferred

• Welding certification preferred

• Experience in manufacturing industry or similar preferred

 

Qualifications

• Pass welding test showcasing skills in flat, vertical, and overhead positions

• Perform welding using various materials such as .035 solid wire, .045 flux core wire, 7018 and 6011 rods

• Utilize hand cutting torches and hand grinders with precision

• Read tape measure with accuracy to 1/32”

• Execute minimal assembly tasks under supervision

• Willingness to perform other production-related duties as assigned

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing and screening
