Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering safe and effective radiation treatments to cancer patients as prescribed by radiation oncologists. This role requires strong technical proficiency, emotional sensitivity, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.\n\nResponsibilities:\nAdminister individualized radiation therapy treatments in accordance with the patient’s treatment plan^Explain treatment procedures to patients and answer their questions with empathy and clarity^Utilize medical imaging and positioning equipment to ensure precise delivery of radiation^Monitor and assess patients’ physical and emotional responses to treatments, reporting any concerns to the oncology team^Educate patients on potential side effects and provide advice on symptom management^Collaborate with oncologists and dosimetrists to adjust treatment plans as necessary^Provide ongoing emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process^Perform quality assurance tests on simulation and treatment machines to ensure operational accuracy and safety
