Sample Handling Assistant - Archive Assistant in Research Studies in our Bedford facility located at 15 Wiggins Way, Bedford, MA. This is an onsite position. Work with a small local team that participates in the North America setting and teams.
In this role its a unique combination of sample management and archive tasks, including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials. Samples include paper data, wet tissues, slides, blocks and frozen biological samples
Excellent keyboarding skills required as this position will have a high degree of data input into tracking and archive database, may involve repeated lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Excellent customer service skills are required as position interfaces with internal and external customers in retrieving and storage of samples all while maintaining strict business confidentially.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, position will document and communicate discrepancies and assist with problem solving.
Strong organizational skills required as position will maintain storage according to protocol.

Education/Qualifications/Skills
High School Diploma or GED required, preferred education beyond high school preferred but not required.
Strong keyboarding skills, able to navigate through multiple screens/applications
Strong customer service skills, strong attention to detail
Stable employment experience with history upward progression and/or taking on additional responsibilities
Prefer but not required 1 or more years of experience in a position that required a high degree of data entry such as customer service representative, order processing.

Compensation for this position will be similar to positions requiring HS Diploma or equivalent, stable work history with 1+ years of related work experience
Pay Range: $20/hour
All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
