About the team: The banking business within Capital One is making multi-year investments in modernizing our core platforms. The destination is a Core Banking Platform that supports real-time, intelligent experiences with enhanced resiliency and risk management. You will work closely with product and engineering partners to build this modern, secure, flexible and resilient core system, standardize core data, and migrate customer accounts from legacy systems to the new core. In addition to the technical program, you will work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve. Responsibilities The TPM Senior Manager will lead cross-functional programs to deliver modern core banking capabilities. Responsibilities include partnering with product, engineering, design, and data science to define a clear technical vision, identify and mitigate risks, and drive execution with accountability and impact. You will foster cross-team collaboration across functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done, and help scale the TPM discipline within the team. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably AWS 3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery 3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs, owning the business or technical vision, collaborating with large cross-functional teams, securing commitments on deliverables, and unblocking teams to land business impact Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment Bachelor\'s degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Compensation and Benefits The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon hours. McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300; Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300. Other locations follow their respective ranges. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
