The Goddard School is hiring a Summer Camp Counselor/Teacher! We are currently looking for a fun, caring and energetic Camp Counselor to join our team this summer. We are looking for a full time counselor to supervise children in a variety of camp activities, Monday-Friday (6/2- 7/31 with possibility of staying through 8/8). • Do something fun and different every day!
• Our play-based learning program allows you to design unique, playful lesson plans that change based on children’s interests.
• Teach children to work together by working together!
• Collaborate with other passionate educators from all walks of life in a variety of camp activities.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the Lead Teacher.
• Have access to national and local networks of early learning professionals who you can learn from and mentor.
• Partner with families where communication is open and honest promoting involvement and support!
• Join a culture where children are respected and encouraged to develop positive social-emotional relationships while learning in developmentally appropriate classrooms.

QUALIFICAITONS:

• Minimum of 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required; one or more years of college preferred
• Prior experience working with children between the ages 2-6 years old preferred
• 12 ECE units preferred but not required
