With the end of the year approaching, I’ve been researching reads for the holiday season. This list of Christmas books set in America was inspired by our epic list of Christmas books set in England and explores novels set all across the United States.

Christmas Books Set In America: An Introduction

There are an abundance of Christmas books set in America, so the titles below have been sorted by the states they are set in (to the best of my knowledge) and their year of publication. The books cover a wide range of genres; including memoirs, mysteries, crime, romance, chick lit, westerns and more.

There’s nothing better than reading something in the time or place it is set, so I hope these stories will get you into the holiday spirit!
