DelMed Inc. is actively seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to join our dedicated team in supporting the transportation of Mobile Medical Units. We proudly serve prestigious medical clients in the New Port News VA area and beyond.

Role Overview:

As a CDL A Driver, your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Safely transporting Mobile Medical Trailers to various hospital and clinic locations.
• Preparing each unit for transport and ensuring it is set up for use upon delivery.
• Maintaining a punctual delivery schedule.

This position typically allows you to be home daily, although the flexibility for additional transports is desired.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience driving 'tractor-trailer' vehicles.
• Current Class A driver's license.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Some mechanical knowledge and experience preferred.

We also expect you to:

• Work evenings and nights as per schedule, potentially including weekends.
• Adapt quickly to changes in schedule.
• Possess knowledge of various computer software programs and the internet.

What We Offer:

• Starting salary of $1,125 per week (with a review for an increase after 90 days).
• Paid orientation and a quarterly bonus system.
• Rider policy available after probation period subject to management approval.
• No vaccine requirement.
• Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, and Life Benefits package available after a 30-day Intro Period.
• PTO benefit of 10 days post-probation period, and 15 days after five years.
• Four sick days per calendar year.
• Per diem when applicable.
